UTAH COUNTY – See Announcement Below
Recap:
Announcement:Our Meetings are Canceled Until Further Notice (See note below)
Utah County ELP. It’s been a great year for our Utah County ELP group and we would like to thank all the members who have supporting and been attending the Friday 7:30 am start time at the Mountain land applied Technology Center, 1420 West 1200 South, Room 239, Orem, UT. MATC has been a great partner, and we appreciate their support and willingness to offer a great facility for our class to use this past year.
As some of you may know the MATC is in the process of moving over the next few weeks and unfortunately this will have a negative impact on our schedule until a new location is identified. Although inconvenient, it does give us time to reevaluate to continue moving the Utah County Group forward. First, it’s been suggested that we look at changing the time and day our group meets and also move the format to 1 ½ hours (entrepreneurs are busy people!). The leadership would like your feedback on these items as well as any areas you feel we could improve on. Understanding the needs of our group will help in locating the best facility. Additional information about time, location or any other developments will be distributed in the coming communications. We are excited to “re-launch” the Utah County ELP with a new location, time, format and looking forward to a great 2012!
While our new location is being worked out, we would like to encourage all the Utah County members to support the Sandy location until further notice.
We have a number of positions available for those would like to take a more active role in helping entrepreneurs in Utah County. Please contact Curtis at ckramer@bc-ut.com if you’re interested in making a difference in 2012.

Announcement Dec 16th Meeting:
Next week, ELP Sandy will dedicate our final 2011 meeting to focus groups, collaboration and building each other’s businesses for the entire 2 hour period. Come prepared to share specific questions that you believe groups
of entrepreneurs would be able to help you with as though you are going to do a 12 minute presentation to the entire group. Questions regarding marketing, creative strategy and branding are great because everyone can
contribute. If you have questions on more technical issues that will require the help of experts such as patents, distribution channels, taxes or funding, we will try to pair you with individuals who can directly help you.
Bring your friends and let’s end 2011 with a great meeting full of answers and progress in everyone’s endeavors.
ELP Sandy will not meet on Dec. 23rd or Dec. 30th due to SLCC closures for the holidays! Dec. 16th will be the final ELP in Sandy until Jan. 6th!
Thanks!
