The famous rock band The Who asks this question in one of their famous songs. I would like to challenge each of you to not only spend time thinking about who you are today, but who do you want to become.
A few weeks ago I had the great honor of sharing the stage with renowned speaker and business leader Dan Clark. He covered many topics and I took many notes. He was inspiring and took everyone through a range of emotions during his amazing presentation. He spent time discussing what is in the core of each of us, especially entreprenuers, and then he made a statement I’ll always remember: “We become the average of the five people we associate with the most.”
I missed the next few things he said because I was taking a mental inventory of who I spend the most time with — my wife, my sons, and my ELP friends. This is one of the great benefits of ELP, we get to spend time with people who can help us grow and help us grow our businesses. We will become the average of those 5 people we associate with the most. If you have some ELP members in your top five, you are in for a great future!
“Come on, n’ tell me Who are you? Who? Who? Who? Who? I really wanna know. Who are you? Who? Who? Who? Who?”
