I will continue on the topic of evaluating the value proposition we offer in our businesses in my next post, but tonight I want to offer my own value proposition to some of you ELP members with businesses up and running and also to some of the others associated with ELP who want to talk about their programs or services. I finally received full approval and a start date to launch my own daily radio show on 1480 KHQN as a partnership project between KHQN and the Department of Workforce Services. It is the Utah Jobs Show and it begins officially on November 5th from 9-10 a.m.
Part of the show talks about business and employers and I want to have as many interviews as I can get to provide marketing, networking, and information for businesses and listeners. It’s pretty straight forward. I’ll let you tell your business story and promote your products or services, and I’ll ask you questions about hiring, industry trends, innovation, and your own career path and choices. Interviews will be replayed periodically and the recordings will be available to you and posted online as podcasts.
If you or anyone you know is interested in appearing on my show to do an interview, please contact me at chrisp@utah.gov or respond to this blog post. As the show is set to start soon, I need to book these interviews quickly. I hope to hear from many of you and I look forward to helping you promote your businesses.
